Terms of Use
1. Scope
These terms govern your use of the Wildberry app and service, provided by CodeBakery, Nicolas Mehlei (sole proprietor), Wedel, Germany (imprint, hello@codebakery.net). Wildberry lets families share photos and videos privately in albums with relatives they approve. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that Google account secure. Wildberry is not intended for children.
3. Your content
Photos, videos, captions and comments you add remain yours. You grant us only the rights needed to provide the service: to store your content, create viewing copies and thumbnails, and show it to the members of the albums you add it to. These rights end when the content is permanently deleted, subject to the retention described in the Privacy Policy.
You may only add content that you are entitled to share. When you share photos or videos of other people, in particular children, you are responsible for being allowed to do so, for example as their parent or guardian or with their consent.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use Wildberry to share unlawful content, content that violates the rights of others, or content that sexualises, exploits or endangers children. You must not harass other members, try to access albums or data you have not been approved for, or interfere with the operation or security of the service. Please report abuse to hello@codebakery.net.
5. Albums, owners and members
- Whoever creates an album is its owner. Owners can make other members owners; all owners have equal rights, and an album always keeps at least one owner.
- Anyone with an invitation link can request access, but only an owner's approval makes them a member. Approved members can see the album's full history and comment.
- Owners decide individually who may upload and who may download originals. Downloads and uploads are off for new members.
- Owners are responsible for whom they approve and can remove members and any photo or video in their album.
- Deleted photos and videos can be restored by an owner for 7 days; a deleted album can be restored by an owner for 31 days. After that, the content is permanently removed.
- Download settings control what the app offers. They cannot prevent screenshots, screen recordings or copies a member has already saved.
6. Availability
We work to keep Wildberry available and your content safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, restrict or discontinue features. Please keep your own copies of photos and videos that are important to you.
7. Liability
We are liable in accordance with the statutory provisions. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using Wildberry at any time and delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account); see Support. Accounts that violate these terms may be closed.
9. Applicable law
German law applies. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you habitually reside.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. Changes are published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
